Despite the geographical shift, loyal patrons faithfully traversed the 25-minute drive from Truckee, underscoring the profound connection forged through culinary delight. This restaurant is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. My wife had the taco salad and I ordered the ham and eggs for breakfast. The staff is friendly and you feel at home when you are there. I can't wait to order the chicken fried steak on our next trip.

We’re happy we stopped at this area gem prior to heading back to San Francisco. We had to wait a little bit outside, but the scenery and food were worth the wait. Service was excellent, food wonderful, and prices reasonable. Try the Huevos Rancheros! We’ll be back!

Loved the atmosphere of this place! It had great views since it was right next to lake donner. The staff was very amiable and the service was very fast. We went for lunch on a Friday which may have contributed to the lighter crowds. Their club sandwich was phenomenal, one of the best I've had. Highly recommend as a lunch food.
